Don't be left in the Dust

Regardless if you want to believe it or not, the world is always moving forward. As we age we see the children having children and we become grandparents. However, not everyone likes change; and even worst, some refuse to except it. Before I say anything else, I just want to say that there is nothing wrong with liking the old over the new. Its okay to look back and smile at those memories of a time when Gas Prices were $1, but you have to move forward.

Staying in one place is complete unhealthy. You're not learning new things. You're repeating the same mistake(s). Worst of all, your being left behind. Now if you have a job you really love and you want to stay there forever, fine. However, you have to keep your eyes and ears open to opportunity. If you don't, things could go sour and not get better. But if things improve, remember what happened and don't let it happen again.

Today we have Apple products and other technologies to keep up with, and its very easy to be left behind. Don't let that discourage you. Within a few months they're release something new and just learn about that one since they likely very similar and your be ahead of everyone. Remember, it's never too late to change and catch up. The only time it will be too late is when you are on your death bed. So whether it catching up with cell phones, learning something new everyday, or just changing your diet so you can be healthier, making a simple change like these can help you finally move forward with your life.

What are your thoughts?

  1. Change is an adaptation. It might be difficult at first to figuare out how to pitch foreign objets. One thing that impressed me about a teacher I had was his ability to be informed. He is in his 60's but he is capable of relating with young crowds and in with his collegues. I took this example and now that I too must be up to date. It does not mean that I am accepting something that I do not like, but it those mean that the person next door to me will not have an advantage over me. He knew about RHIANA, NICKY MINAJ but he also new about the new technology on telephones and IPADS, and he also knew on new discoveries around the World, like new species of dinosours. It is important to evolve if you wanna live at the pace of production.

  2. You are definitely right. I'm the type of person who is afraid of change so i never move forward. I like to stay were i am at. At work home or even personal, but that has affected me so much and in many different ways. Not adapting to change has enabled me to have a better future and evolve with this world like it has. So reading your blog re enforces what others had already told me i should be doing.

  3. I agree with you Gabby, because its hard adapting to new changes. I'm those time of person that adapts to it slowly. In some situations I can move faster than others situation. Change is happening every where know a days that we should just get use to it. But its never to late to change.
